-- * This reminds me of a decades-old book I read in high school purporting to be a guide to modern dragonology; its conceit was that dragons had once existed on earth, but due to human encroachment had disappeared into the ecosystem. It had some marvelous photos of dragon-shaped sand dunes, clouds, etc., and classified them into species based on habitat.
