Hmph. I've been quoted. Guess I don't get to lurk anymore. ;)

I can't really take credit for much of that, since the original Bill Gates BFF edition comment is from my coworker. Still, it remains one of my favorite one-liners.


Personally though, I've never quite understood the upgrade path for Vista. I'm apparently not alone, considering it requires this elaborate flowchart to explain to potential customers (not for the feint of heart).


I figure at some point, they'll just start bundling shares in the company with the highest tier of every OS release.*


* Microsoft is a very, very easy target, so I'll keep my own ranting to a minimum there. And yes, this conversation was triggered by that thread.
