If you've recently been friended by someone you don't know whose journal is mostly a rambling, picture-laden and poorly written story/fanfic about Masha and Peter, it's a spambot.

The one that hit me was [info]njamamo, though from the link in the previous paragraph it looks like this is a much more widespread phenomenon. If you get hit by "Masha", report them as a bot to livejournal.

Got hit by one named [info]imdrjali--fortunately I DON'T automatically friend back, and banned the user from my LJ as a precaution. Thanks for confirming what I suspected it might be.
