Sighting
Spotted at Fry's (a big electronics discount chain) today:

A Buddhist monk, saffron robes and all, comparison-shopping for USB media card readers.

O grand and wond'rous world, that can have such sights in't!

Well, I remember seeing a Buddhist nun driving a SUV (platinium gold) and talking on her cell-phone (hands-free). It was quite a memorable sight.

I've always liked watching Buddhist monks riding the Orange Line in Boston. Because they MATCH!

One time in SF, I saw a Buddhist monk walking down the street. A short time later, I saw a Franciscan monk heading a different direction. I love that town.

I remember talking to a Buddhist monk and asking him for advice. He said to me at one point in our conversation, "It's a bit like debugging code. You stare at it and tinker with it, and it's after you go away for a while that you suddenly realise what you did wrong."

That boggled me quite impressively for a few minutes :)
