I repeat: This is not a journal. I set up a Livejournal account for the sole purpose of being able to comment non-anonymously on friends' entries.
You may want to check out Tomorrowlands.org, where I do keep a daily-esque journal, as well as occasionally posting content of greater importance. It even has a nifty forum where you can leave comments, etc.
