Bill O'Reilly calls Rush Limbaugh un-American!
Enjoy the fireworks:

Bill O'Reilly, Factor Talking Points, July 6 (emphasis mine; annotated transcript here):
"The anti-American press both here and in Europe is actually helping the terrorists by diminishing their threat. Talking Points urges you to begin holding people accountable for their position on the terror war. Walk away from media that excuses or sanitizes these brutal acts."

Rush Limbaugh, July 7:
"It's like I said, 40 people dead, 150 seriously wounded, 1,000 wounded out of over a million people in that transit tube. It's not a successful terrorist attack, folks. They didn't succeed in doing anything."

In conclusion: One of them is a frothing idiot. One of them exhibited less froth.

Rush Limbaugh is better in that one. Because, well, it's true.

Yes, but with neoconservatives, they've always alternated between telling us that the terrorists are a dire constant threat, and completely neutralized.

Yeah, Limbaugh is right. Terrorism simply hasn't done that much damage in any Western city (including NY). One of the bombs was in King's Cross, and many more people died in the (completely accidental) fire at that tube station. There's a reason why most people realise that climate change and world poverty are far more serious issues.

I'm mostly posting though because of your 'music' link. DDR music! Good tune. I need to play that tomorrow or something, if my pad will hold up :)

Er. . . what, exactly, does Bill O'Riley think terrorists are DOING? I mean, it's right in the name. "Terror-ists". They want to make people scared.

Therefore, anyone who makes people more scared of terrorists -- by raising terror threat levels and the like -- is helping terrorists. Anyone who makes people less scared of terrorists by diminishing their threats is fighting terrorists.

Is that hard for the man to understand?

You've forgotten that the fear of terrorists is exactly what certain groups who want to unreasonably take away civil liberties want, too.

Not fear, terror

(Link)
That is to say, unreasonable fear. Note that these same groups who take advantage of the unreasonable fear as a political tool qualify as terrorists themselves.
