I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks to the anonymous benefactor who recently sent me $100.

The envelope arrived Friday night, showing up in our mailbox here at the new place with no return address save a rubber stamp design of a dragon. Inside, a card. Inside that, no text or explanation -- simply the gift.

Is this a (belated) birthday present? Did someone see the brief, throwaway mention of my current financial status in my post about the move to California, and decide to take pity on me? Is it a housewarming gift? One way or another, I'm very grateful; it will be a great help with moving expenses and to pay down the credit cards.

I hope to be in a position where I can pay it forward in a year or two.

Myles got one two - kind of odd since the last time Myles got laid off one came in the mail - but this envolope was postmarked two days prior to Myles getting laid off.. kinda freaky - I think it's the same person... Dragon rubber stamp for the return address, motorcycle card...

Dude... I want someone to send me money annonomously. :)~ Myles needs it though.. laid off is a bitch.

Motorcycle eh? Perhaps its Wyrm? He is the only dragon I know who is way into Motorcycles, though I'm sure he isn't the only one. But I imagine he makes enough to have some to shell out for people, at least I get the impression he has a good, steady job that pays pretty well. I know that's an even smaller group in the AFD/Furry community, those who have disposable income left over after basic life necessities.

But it definately wasn't me, sad to say. I've already taken Blackfang under wing and am getting him up to speed in life since his parent's couldn't be bothered to do more than make him take care of his deadbeat sisters kids. Can only handle one project at a time, so it definately wasn't me!

Perhaps the mysterious philanthropost will unmask themselves when the time is right.

Perhaps, or perhaps it's just their way to go about things. It is nice, I'm sure whomever they are some how know of our thanks and appriciation.

Projects are good, but too many, your're right takes way too much out of you.
