After the mess they made of Usenet, I have trouble restraining myself from tracking them all down and gutting them like fish. I make a point of not learning information that could enable this behavior.

In my case, restraint is made marginally easier by the fact that the IP addresses used trace back to Amsterdam. But I hear you. Oh, I hear you.

I work at an ISP, and spam, scams and phishing attempts are responsible, directly or indirectly (such as by forcing the isntallation of spam filters and antivirus software that people have trouble with), for probably over 50% of our call volume. That's time out of my day every day that I'd rather use for system hacking.*

* Note to non-technical readers: "hack" is used here in the sense of "upgrading, maintenance and general fiddling," not in the sense of "hacking into" something that is more properly referred to as system "cracking." See also.

Didn't think it was possible for any value to be less than epsilon. I mean, I could maybe see an asymptotic approach to epsilon, but ... :-)
