Awwww. Isn't he cute? The little brown guy is named Alex, and he was just born in a Barbados zoo to his mommy Allison. His dad was ... well, let's just say that Alex is going to have a hard time at the little zebra school during recess.

I vote "debra." Pronounced DEE-bra, of course.

I've heard both zedonk and zonkey (my personal favorite) from official sources.

"Zebra-donkey crosses are termed Zebroid, Zebrass, Zonkey or Ze-donk." - http://www.geocities.com/zedonknzorse/allabout.html (although the site is down and I had to Google cache it)

So, basically, yes, but I'm just having some fun. :)

I'm glad I got a chance to check this thread before complaining that you didn't have the right answer :D

Your poll is being dominated by the "Ooh! Clicker thing!" option. XD

That's not terribly surprising. Consider the audience.

Yeah - I recall someone once posted a Livejournal poll to see how many people would select "Clicky thing!" as a third option for yes/no questions. If I remember correctly, the "Clicky thing!" vote was about 65 percent.

Wish I'd added that to my memories. I can't find it again.

Since a zebra is a kind of horse, that would technically make him a mule. So I'm going with "zmule."

Actually, zebra are considerably closer to being wild asses than they are to being horses...

We have a local restaurant called "zPie." Something about the phrasing of "zmule" makes me considerably more uncomfortable about the restaurant name.

You call it a 'Zebroid'.

More specifically, a Zebrass.

I like "keybra"; it reminds me of Keypers, which makes me think of an unlockable, plastic zebra in which to store jewellery.

Which, I guess, means Alex will be home-schooled?

I guess that explains why Alex's mom didn't swing toward stripes, if you know what I mean.

I prefer "zonkey". ;)
